Brazil is the sole bidding nation for the right to host the 2014 Fifa World Cup, following Colombia's withdrawal from the bidding process. "Brazil is now the only remaining candidate for the right to host the 2014 Fifa World Cup after the Colombian football association officially withdrew its candidature on 11 April," world football governing body Fifa said on its official website. .
Scicom bidding for several deals
PETALING JAYA: Business outsourcing firm, Scicom MSC Bhd, is bidding for several deals in South-East Asia and North America, and is also confident of signing new contracts with mobile-phone companies Nokia and Singapore Telecommunications, said research house TA Securities. The brokerage said in a note the landscape for business process outsourcing was revolving rapidly, and that contact centres were being pressured to provide more value-added services to their customers.
